WWJ Summer Drinking Tour Recap 8-25-06 Zac Brown Band, UFC

Time for a quick recap of this weekends stops on the WWJ 2006 Summer Drinking Tour. Friday night started off at one of the best places to grab food in Atlanta, Eats. If you live in Atlanta, this is a must eat place with their great food and inexpensive prices. For 5 bucks and some change I had more then enough food to stuff my face. After stuffing my face with jerk chicken, rice and collard greens it was off to the SOLD OUT Zac Brown Band show at Variety Playhouse. As always the ZBB put on an amazing show, soon you will be able to see the show as they filmed it for their upcoming DVD. Guys listen up!! Even if you don’t care for the type of music that ZBB does, you need to go to one of their shows for the ridiculous amount of drop dead gorgeous women. I felt like Michael Jackson in an elementary school. Despite the numbers in my favor, your hero WWJ didn’t have any luck with the ladies. Yes, I know that is shocking for you to hear, but don’t cry it’s not the end of the world. My hero and yours of the night was WWJ Sr. Photographer, Ray. Besides taken some amazing pictures and video (which I will post later) the happily married Ray was a hit with the ladies. Perhaps it was his shinny bald head or the platinum wedding band, that drew the chicks to him like a magnet, but I like to think it was the prestige of being the WWJ Sr. Photographer. After the concert, we somehow wound up in Buckhead. Despite hating clubs, I actually enjoyed watching the strippers that decided to spend their night off by dancing for me at Tongue and Groove.
After 3 hours of sleep, I wound up at American Pie on Saturday night to watch UFC 62. For some reason the chicken fingers and Jack Daniels didn’t help to make me recover from Friday night, so after the fights we called it a night. In case you missed it Chuck Liddell won by KO and my boy Forrest Griffin had another war with Stephan Bonner and won by unanimous decision. So here are some pictures from Friday night, I will post all of the great concert pictures that Ray took along with some videos later this week.
