Video of the Day - Volkswagen Car Crash Ads

Time for another WWJ approved Video of the Day. I still haven’t recovered from the long Thanksgiving weekend, but I figured I would do a quick post. I absolutely fucking hate the Volkswagen commercials that have been running nonstop for the past couple months. You know the ones that have some people in the car talking about some random shit and not paying attention, when all of a sudden, BOOM the car gets the shit smashed out of it. I think there are like 7 different ones; hell there is even one where the bitches in the car are talking about the other 6 Volkswagen commercials. All the commercials end with the driver about to curse, before it’s cut off with the Volkswagen logo and the oh so edgy tag line of Safe Happens. I guess this is their way to seem “cool” and “hip” to younger drivers with their loud music, an their Dan Fogelberg, their Zima, Hula Hoops and Pac Man video games. Now granted I wasn’t an advertising major in college, but I did take Intro to Advertising, so I think that qualifies me as an expert. My expert opinion is that VW dropped the ball and didn’t come off edgy enough. Since I could use a new car and I am dead broke, I figured I would help VW get that edge they so need to appeal to younger drivers. I submit this video to help salvage the current Safe Happens campaign. Your welcome VW and I will expect my coupon for a free Jetta by the end of the week.

Time for another WWJ approved Video of the Day. I go to a lot of sporting events and I always seem to be seated next to one of the following type of fans. There is the “obnoxious drunk guy” that has to continuingly scream “fuck” and “shit” right in front of little kids. Now people who know me would say I have no room to talk, being that every other word I say is “Fuck” or “Shit”, but I at least know when not to scream “Vick you fucking retard! Hold onto the God damn ball you overrated herpes infested piece of shit!” Next you have the “know it all guy” that thinks because he played a pick up game one day with some brothers or watched ESPN, that he knows the reasoning behind each play and believes that he would be better then the coach that the team pays millions. Granted sometimes the coach is actually a bigger retard then this guy and he actually might do a better job then the coach. Then there is the “dancing white guy” that has to show off his less then stellar dance moves every time music is played over the p.a. This guy is either trying to get on TV/jumbotron, drunk off his ass, retarded or all three. 9 times out of 10, I am that guy in my section and it’s a result of being both drunk and slightly retarded. Well today’s Video of the Day deals with two of those fans. Thank God for rednecks and the hours of entertainment they provide me on a daily basis!

Time for another WWJ approved Video of the Day. So after the whole YouTube crap I went through a couple weeks back, I am weary of posting today’s video. John Kerry and His Iraq Joke

John Kerry is a dick. If his “joke” the other day about Iraq was meant to take a shot at the President, fine. Today he should have at least apologized to the troops that help protect his ass and his billions of ketchup cash, instead of saying he wasn’t going to apologize to anyone. I don’t care if your Republican, Democrat, Anti War, or Pro War ( so save your emails) you should at least support the troops that fight for your freedom. I suggest John Kerry use some of his ketchup billions and hire some Jewish writers to start feeding him jokes. I am sure he has enough to employ the entire The Daily Show staff. YouTube Body Slams WWJ

So after getting a Youtube honor yesterday for my videos having so many views, my account was deleted today. All the videos I put up are now gone. You can thank the guys over at College Humor, that have more then their fair share of "copyrighted" shit on their site, for getting me kicked off YouTube for copyright infringement. Also thank Comedy Central, who have always been very cool about having clips of South Park, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on Youtube. Hell Comedy Central should thank YouTube for all the buzz its generated for those shows. I could see if I put a whole episode up of South Park, but I only put a compilation up that I edited and a small 30 second clip, which at last count had close to 300,000 views in 4 days. I am sure this killed their profits and that not one person will tune into watch the show this week. What gets me is that the compilation video I made using clips from South Park was featured on VH-1's The Best Week Ever's web site. In case you don't know Viacom owns both VH-1 and Comedy Central plus several other stations, so what I want to know is where is my mother fuckin check Viacom?? I helped advertise and promote your show to over half a million people, plus I never gave you permission to use a video, that I spent 10 minutes editing, on your web site. If I were to sue, I figure the advertising and the time spent editing the video roughly comes out to about 1 million, but I will be willing to settle out of court for 500 bucks and a Colbert Report T-shirt. You can make the check out to Wrestle With Jimmy dot Net and I suggest you send it certified just in case it happens to get lost in the mail. Perhaps I will create a new account and repost my videos minus the ones with legal issues, sometime this week. Though I have a feeling my account will just get deleted again once I put up the videos I have been working on for the past 4 weeks. OH one more thing, make sure the Colbert Report T-shirt is a large and since it's almost winter, if you have one in long sleeves that would be great!
