Much like SouthPark’s Stars of The Internet Fight, Weezer has tapped the nets to make one hell of a video. I attempted to do something similar to this over a year ago for one of my classes and I failed miserably. My video contained spoofs of several web videos and I posted only part of it and it rightfully got trashed by everyone who saw it. Unlike my attempt, Weezer scored gold with their attempt. This video didn’t turn out how I had envisioned, but being I had the damn flu and my voice was going in and out I can’t complain with the finished product. The concept was two guys were watching some popular YouTube videos, which I recreated. The recreated videos included Numa Numa, Star Wars Kid and Evolution of Dance. After watching the videos it turns out the guys themselves are part of a YouTube video. Unlike other people I don’t care about making an ass out of myself, so to protect the innocent, I have only included the end of the video. After all the hype from The Landlord video, you would think that he had a new movie coming out. Time for another WWJ approved Video of the Day. Saturday Night Live has been sucking more ass then Boy George on a cruise ship. They get lucky sometimes and have at least one skit that is actually funny. Lately those have been the digital shorts written by the guys from The Lonely Island. Several weeks back there was a skit with Payton Manning that I said was a rip off of Billy Madison and an old SNL skit. People didn’t believe me that SNL would actually steal its material. I would have submitted proof to back up my claims, but I am too damn lazy and I don’t get paid to do this. However tonight they did it again. Yes, SNL ripped off one of their skits from the guys over at Derrick Comedy and since finding the proof was pretty easy I decided to do a post on it. Are the writers that desperate over at SNL that they have to steal their skits from the internet? Quick word of advice to the SNL writers, if your going to blantly steal your material, at least steal something that is really funny. Derrick Comedy and YouTube have plenty of things for you to steal that are a million times funnier. I am just glad that my dream of working on SNL never came true, as Id be embarrassed to say I worked on it now. The video of the skit SNL did isn’t online yet, but I will throw it up later for you. It will be like playing that game when you have two similar pictures and you have point out what is different, so go get your Crayolas bitches!!
Time for another WWJ approved Video of the Day. Well I finished my term paper a little quicker then I expected, so I figured I would do one more post tonight. A week ago I had to make a music video for one of my classes, something that I have never done. It is not something that I would normally make or even post on this page, but some people said they liked it and that I should post it on here. I am not completely happy with how it turned out, but I only had a little time to edit it. I figured if I posted this now, I would then prevent future blackmail if the pictures of me in drag happened to surface. Well it was kind of funny, but it was basically a rip off of the dodge ball scene from Billy Madison along with some other old skits. If you happen to have a younger sibling, kids or you just like to get blasted and watch Nickelodeon, you have seen the propaganda laced cartoon Dora The Explorer. Time for another WWJ approved Video of the Day. I have had a perfect DVD copy of Borat for several months now, but just like everyone else I went out and bought the retail version this week. Last night while I was doing some cleaning, I threw it in for background noise. There is a part towards the end of the film where 3 frat boys from South Carolina say something about how they wish there were still slaves in America. This really made me think about slavery, so I decided to have one of those “what if” dream sequences. You know the ones like you see on TV all the time, when the person says “I wonder what it would have been like if…” and then some weird music plays and the screen gets wavy and the person is magically transported to the bizzaro world that shows them their situation. Well after saying my scenario out loud for about 30 minutes, I realized it wouldn’t work since I am 1. Not on TV and 2. The drugs I take don’t make me hallucinate. Luckily for me there was a video on YouTube to answer my perplexing question. I know I am going to get a shit load of hate mail for this one, so let me say just I am not a racist; I just don’t like white people.

Time for another WWJ approved Video of the Day. I still haven’t recovered from the long Thanksgiving weekend, but I figured I would do a quick post. I absolutely fucking hate the Volkswagen commercials that have been running nonstop for the past couple months. You know the ones that have some people in the car talking about some random shit and not paying attention, when all of a sudden, BOOM the car gets the shit smashed out of it. I think there are like 7 different ones; hell there is even one where the bitches in the car are talking about the other 6 Volkswagen commercials. All the commercials end with the driver about to curse, before it’s cut off with the Volkswagen logo and the oh so edgy tag line of Safe Happens. I guess this is their way to seem “cool” and “hip” to younger drivers with their loud music, an their Dan Fogelberg, their Zima, Hula Hoops and Pac Man video games. Now granted I wasn’t an advertising major in college, but I did take Intro to Advertising, so I think that qualifies me as an expert. My expert opinion is that VW dropped the ball and didn’t come off edgy enough. Since I could use a new car and I am dead broke, I figured I would help VW get that edge they so need to appeal to younger drivers. I submit this video to help salvage the current Safe Happens campaign. Your welcome VW and I will expect my coupon for a free Jetta by the end of the week.

Time for another WWJ approved Video of the Day. I go to a lot of sporting events and I always seem to be seated next to one of the following type of fans. There is the “obnoxious drunk guy” that has to continuingly scream “fuck” and “shit” right in front of little kids. Now people who know me would say I have no room to talk, being that every other word I say is “Fuck” or “Shit”, but I at least know when not to scream “Vick you fucking retard! Hold onto the God damn ball you overrated herpes infested piece of shit!” Next you have the “know it all guy” that thinks because he played a pick up game one day with some brothers or watched ESPN, that he knows the reasoning behind each play and believes that he would be better then the coach that the team pays millions. Granted sometimes the coach is actually a bigger retard then this guy and he actually might do a better job then the coach. Then there is the “dancing white guy” that has to show off his less then stellar dance moves every time music is played over the p.a. This guy is either trying to get on TV/jumbotron, drunk off his ass, retarded or all three. 9 times out of 10, I am that guy in my section and it’s a result of being both drunk and slightly retarded. This time it’s the first 6 minutes of Tenacious D and The Pick of Destiny, plus the music video and another scene from the movie. Now I don’t care for Jack Black movies, but I am a huge Tenacious D fan and I cant wait to see this film. How can a film with Meatloaf and Dio not be the greatest movie of all time?

The PS3 was not released today, so you still got 10 more days to get that second mortgage so you will be able to afford one. Today however was the midterm elections and that means you wont have to suffer through all those political ads for another year and a half. The guys over at The Damn Show made some ads for this year’s best candidate, Alec Cauch. If my vote actually counted, I would have definitely voted for Mr. Cauch.

Sure I cowered in the corner of my shower and cried like a little girl for a couple of days, but after some great meds from my doctor I am feeling much better now. I have actually been under the weather and super busy as of late, but hopefully things will get back to normal around here shortly. In case you somehow forgot, the PS3 was released today. I actually had several ideas this year, but they were all pretty lame. Hell I have enough trouble getting laid in normal clothes, so I decided not to dress up this Halloween in a lame costume that would hinder my chances even more of getting my hands on some Scooby Snacks. Last nights episode of South Park actually had a costume I would wear and that would guarantee that I got my Scooby Snacks. Now I have no clue why I didn’t think of going as Steve “The Crocodile Hunter” Irwin as soon as the reports came in of him getting killed by a sting ray, but sadly it’s too late now to go as good ole Steve, plus I have no clue where the hell I would find a sting ray. Before they got South Park on the air they were commissioned to make an orientation video for Universal Studios. They even got huge stars like Sylvester Stallone, Demi Moore, Michael J Fox and porn legend Tracy Lords to star in it. For some odd reason, the suits at Universal didn’t like it and it was never used, but thanks to the power of the internets you can now watch it.
