WWJ Summer Drinking Tour - SoCo Music Experience

The 2007 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour had a small stop this past weekend at the SoCo Music Experience in beautiful downtown Atlanta. It was a free concert featuring the Zac Brown Band, Sick Puppies and Cypress Hill. Thanks to 99X web page having the time wrong we missed Zac Brown, but we did catch the Sick Puppies. A strong storm ended up rolling thru and we left early. Here are some of the pictures and a video ofone of the many characters that was at the show. WWJ 2006 Summer Drinking Tour - New Years

The final stop on the WWJ 2006 Summer Drinking Tour was last night and it was one helluva a night. The night started at Goldfish for some dinner and drinks. As soon as I walked in I made my way straight to the bar to see my buddy Clint. Before I can even say hi to him some blonde grabs me and asks me to dance with her to “Brown eyed Girl.” Turns out her boyfriend or husband wouldn’t dance with her and she grabbed me to make him jealous. Thankfully I was sober and kept my distance from her by just twirling her, thus avoiding the inevitable ass kicking I would have got. After the dance, I finally got my first drink of the night, a very strong Red Bull/Vodka. We finally sat done for dinner and somehow I made my way back to the bar for another Red Bull/Vodka and some shot that Clint made up. I had the Charleston shrimp and grits and as always the meal was amazing. We settled our tab and pilled in cars to make our way to Compound. Sadly we got there late and the line was outrageous. It was hard to get anyone on a cell phone, so we actually had to stand in line and I got to do the countdown to midnight outside the club. While in line, I noticed a good looking girl behind me that looked very familiar. Turns out it was my ex girl friend’s sister. Her friends said something about how cool my ex was and my drunken ass told them no she really isn’t that cool and is actually a bitch. They found it funny, so no harm no foul. We finally made our way inside and I really don’t remember too much. Despite not getting a kiss at midnight or any action, from the pictures I have it looks like I had a great time. Hope everyone else had a safe and Happy New Year.

2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour Recap 12-2-06

It’s Wednesday and I am finally recovered from all the stops the 2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour made this past weekend. Friday Night was supposed to be a guy’s night out, as we had great seats for the Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavilers. Thanks to the SEC Championship game, the traffic in downtown Atlanta was horrid. After sitting in traffic for well over an hour we finally decided to turn around and 10 great tickets went to waste. The night however was still young and we went back to a friends place and started drinking while we watched Clerks 2. Somehow we later wound up bar hopping in Midtown. I forget what bars we went to, but I know we ended the night with jager bombs at Sutra. Saturday night we went to one of the best parties I have been to, since Ray’s first House Party. Sadly, WWJ’s Sr. Photographer wasn’t there to capture all the magic, but I still managed to get a couple of pictures. We never should have left the party, but unfortunately we did and we wound up at Fever. I was more then buzzed when we left that party, but I still figured it was a good idea to drop a bill on more Red Bull and Grey Goose. While at Fever I was accosted by a very ugly girl that was easily 4 times my side. I got to give her credit for having the guts to actually ask me to buy her a drink, but even with all that vodka in my system I realized that wasn’t a good idea and I chuckled a bit when I told her no. You can call me an asshole if you want, but you didn’t have her try to grab your junk. The best part of the weekend was easily the party, where I meet a ton of cool people and actually unlike the clubs, had a great time. Hopefully I will get invited to the next one they have.

WWJ 2006 Summer Drinking Tour - Halloween

This past weekend, the WWJ 2006 Summer Drinking Tour made a stop at my friend Mandy’s Halloween party. Now I haven’t dressed up for Halloween since I was 10, but for some reason I decided to actually dress up this year. I thought about going the cheap route and just wearing a white T-shirt and a sticker that said “Hi my name is Tom Myspace.” Since I didn’t want to ruin one of my white T-shirts and it was a bit cold out, I opted to go as Nacho Libre. The Jew in me managed the pull this costume off without spending a dime, because the next day I returned all the shit I bought for the costume. Yes I admit I am a cheap bastard, but I am about to leave a full time job to go back to school full time and every penny counts. So here are a couple of the pictures from Saturday night.

2006 WWJ SDT - weekend update Atlanta Thrashers vs. Carolina Hurricanes, UFC 64 and Falcons vs. Giants

The 2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour made a stop last night at Phillips Arena, as the Atlanta Thrashers took on the 2006 Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes. The seats were amazing as we were only one row up from the glass. Sadly the Thrashers lost in the final seconds of the game, but despite the loss it was a great game. Besides the kick ass seats the game was enhanced by all the MILF’s that were sitting next to us. Since we were running extremely late, we forgot the camera and I was forced to use the camera on my Razr. After the game we wound up at Goldfish, but I dont really remember much other then that. Tonight the tour will be stopping at American Pie to watch UFC 64 as Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin takes on Anderson Silva. On Sunday, the weekend will wrap up at the 50 yard line of the Georgia Dome, when the Atlanta Falcons take on the New York Giants. Well bitches, my hungover ass needs to go rest up for tonight and tomorrows early tailgating, so that’s all for today.

WWJ Summer Drinking Tour Recap 8-25-06 Zac Brown Band, UFC

Time for a quick recap of this weekends stops on the WWJ 2006 Summer Drinking Tour. Friday night started off at one of the best places to grab food in Atlanta, Eats. If you live in Atlanta, this is a must eat place with their great food and inexpensive prices. For 5 bucks and some change I had more then enough food to stuff my face. After stuffing my face with jerk chicken, rice and collard greens it was off to the SOLD OUT Zac Brown Band show at Variety Playhouse. As always the ZBB put on an amazing show, soon you will be able to see the show as they filmed it for their upcoming DVD. Guys listen up!! Even if you don’t care for the type of music that ZBB does, you need to go to one of their shows for the ridiculous amount of drop dead gorgeous women. I felt like Michael Jackson in an elementary school. Despite the numbers in my favor, your hero WWJ didn’t have any luck with the ladies. Yes, I know that is shocking for you to hear, but don’t cry it’s not the end of the world. My hero and yours of the night was WWJ Sr. Photographer, Ray. Besides taken some amazing pictures and video (which I will post later) the happily married Ray was a hit with the ladies. Perhaps it was his shinny bald head or the platinum wedding band, that drew the chicks to him like a magnet, but I like to think it was the prestige of being the WWJ Sr. Photographer. After the concert, we somehow wound up in Buckhead. Despite hating clubs, I actually enjoyed watching the strippers that decided to spend their night off by dancing for me at Tongue and Groove.
After 3 hours of sleep, I wound up at American Pie on Saturday night to watch UFC 62. For some reason the chicken fingers and Jack Daniels didn’t help to make me recover from Friday night, so after the fights we called it a night. In case you missed it Chuck Liddell won by KO and my boy Forrest Griffin had another war with Stephan Bonner and won by unanimous decision. So here are some pictures from Friday night, I will post all of the great concert pictures that Ray took along with some videos later this week.

Summer Drinking Tour 8-25-06 - Zac Brown Band, UFC 62, Joe Firstman and Beerfest

The WWJ Summer Drinking Tour is gearing up for a big weekend. The festivities start Friday night, when the WWJ staff and I head out to see the local boys, The Zac Brown Band play to a SOLD OUT Variety Playhouse. This will be their Welcome Home show and they will be filming the concert for their first live DVD. The show is sold out, but earlier today they released a couple more tickets, so you can head over to the Variety Playhouse’s web site and try your luck. If you don’t make it out to this show, you definitely need to make an effort to catch their great live show.




Saturday night, it’s guy’s night out as we invaded American Pie to watch UFC 62 : Liddell vs. Sobral. Even though the main event is going to be a great match up, I am looking forward to seeing my boy, Forrest Griffin take on Stephan Bonner, in a rematch of one of the best fights in UFC history. As of now we are supposed to go to American Pie, but we may wind up back at the Hooter’s of Gwinnett.



One of my all time favorite CD’s is Joe Firstman’s The War of Women, so I am very excited that I finally get to see him perform live this Sunday at Smiths Olde Bar. If you’re a night owl you may recognize Joe from his stint as the house band on Last Call with Carson Daly.



Also on tap this weekend, The Broken Lizard’s return to the big screen with Beerfest. In case you’re a shut in or a retard, Broken Lizard are the guys responsible for the classic Super Troopers. Since this movie is about a secret beer drinking competition, I think it would be sacrilegious to watch this movie without drinking some cold beer. If anybody knows a good way to sneak a 12 pack into a movie theater let me know. I guess I could pay more and go see it at one of the theaters that serve alcohol, but that just doesn’t seem right either.



On Monday I am taking the day off to recover, so I will attempt to do a recap of the weekend’s festivities. Hopefully someone will be sober and I will have some good pictures and videos to post, but most likely I will end up with a ton of blurry pictures and a video of some girl’s ass.

Flyleaf and Boy Hits Car Atlanta Show Recap

For the five minutes my internet is actually up and running, I thought I would post up a recap from the WWJ 2006 Summer Drinking Tour Flyleaf and Boy Hits Car show that went down Friday at the Loft. WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW!?!?! Get your ass out and see these two bands and buy their CDs. Flyleaf sounded just as great as the CD and the energy that BHC has on stage is unmatched by any band out there today. Sadly I didn’t get to meet the adorable Lacey Mosely, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for the Family Values Tour. Huge KUDOS go to WWJ Sr. Photographer Ray, who despite being on the edge of the mosh pit, did an amazing job of getting some great shots. There were so many amazing shots, that there was no way I could post them all up. Instead of doing thumbnails, I decided to try a Slide show. I have all these pictures and more in HQ and will make them available by request only. When you start paying for my server costs you can bitch at me all you want for not posting up a 100 plus pictures that are no smaller then 1.4 MB. I also posted 2 videos of Flyleaf from the show. Yeah the sound isn’t the best, but there was nothing I could do about that so bite me.

If you havent checked these bands out yet what the hell are you waiting for?!?!?! 2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour - Weekend Recap

Time for a little recap of this past weekend and the stops that were made on the 2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour.


Friday – The night started at Meehans where I meet up with my old friends from back in my Clear Channel days that I hadn’t seen since I was fired. It was great catching up with the now married Rich and Heather and my old boss the Porn Czar. After a couple hours and several Jack and Cokes, I left Meehans to meet up with the Porn Czar at one of the few strip clubs in Atlanta I have never been to, Mardi Gras. I mean who could pass up going to a strip club with someone named the Porn Czar I guess the excitement of seeing all those bouncing breasts messed with my keen navigation skills, as I could never find the damn place. I decided to go back and hang out with Rich and Heather some more. Despite not seeing any boobs until I got home and surfed the web, I really enjoyed hanging out with those two crazy kids as I had missed them a ton.



Saturday – I had planned on going to Hooters to watch Forrest Griffin kick Tito Ortiz’ ass at UFC 59, but after drinking a bottle of wine I got talked into going to the Highlands. The night started at Neighbors, then it was on to Twisted Taco where I sang some Journey till I lost my voice and finally the night ended at a hot girl’s apartment. Too bad most of the night was spent on her bathroom floor. Yes WWJ was forced to tap out when he was put in a figure four leg lock. You can call me a pussy if you want, but here is the list of what was consumed that night.

Sunday - All week I had been looking forward to Sunday as I had amazing seats right behind the dugout for the Atlanta Braves game. Thanks to Saturday night, I didn’t get a chance to go see the Braves lose to the Padres. Instead I was passed out on my buddys couch all day.



Monday – I mentioned I hung out with the hilarious The Porn Czar and he was nice enough to plug my page on his. Even though he plugged me on his page, it was a shock to hear my fake orgasm on The Regular Guys show a couple times this morning. Granted it wasn’t meant to air, but was still pretty damn cool and kind of creepy at the same time. My ears must have been playing tricks on me as I thought I heard Larry Wachs actually say my page was funny. Though he didn’t mention my web site name on air, it was nice to have someone you find funny give you a compliment.

2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour - House Party

The 2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour had many stops last week, so thank the mass quantities of alcohol that were consumed for the lack of updates. I am not going to promise anything, but lack of updates should be a thing of the past as WWJ has gone Wifi BITCHES!!! So I should now be able to update while I am out on the 2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour. OK. I think I am finally recovered from Thursday night’s house party thrown by WWJ Sr. Staff Photographer Ray and his drunken wife Kristi. I am not sure if this is a new subruban trend, but the last couplehouse parties I have gone too, the women have been very presistent about me bringing out WWJ Jr. Now maybe there is a rumor out there that I am a freak of nature or my nick name is Mandingo, but just because I have a size 13 shoe ladies dont forget I am white and Irish. Despite not drinking much and only getting an hour and half worth of sleep before work, the party was a blast and well worth the horrendous hangover that followed. After working a full 8 hours on a night’s rest of an hour and a half, I crawled over to Turner Field to see the Atlanta Braves take on the World Champion Chicago White Sox. My seat was 5 or 6 rows up on the first base side, but despite the great seats after 15 minutes and one beer we all left to go get dinner and more drinks. Other things happened that I either don’t remember or you could give a shit less about, so here are some of the many pictures and a video from the house party. I am almost recovered from the long St.Patty’s day weekend, so it is time for a recap of this weekend’s stops on the 2006 WWJ Summer Drinking Tour. Big thanks goes to Vince for the great seats for tonights Hawks game and tommorows Thrashers game. The streets of Buckhead will be filled with a bunch of thugs and the wonderful smell of puked up green beer. Not sure what bar we will end up at, but Saturday's hangover will be nursed by wings and NCAA tourney action at the always classy American Pie. I will quit being lazy and start posting mroe often begining Sunday. I am finaly done crying over my birthday and the fact that I am 29 years old, slightly balding and single with no chances of ever landing a woman I dont have to pay for. To make myself feel better, I will unleash a fury of built up anger against Hollywood in the next Unnamed Segment and I will bring back WWJ HBOTD favorite Stacy Keibler to fulfill those cheerleading fantasies I have had ever since I saw Revenge of the Nerds.
